We know that most of the negative calorie food list containsmainly fruits or vegetables. There was a good reason why your mom always told you to eat your fruits and veggies. This combination makes your digestive system work overtime breaking the food down and using it for fuel, therefore the high fiber content of food is a must. The digestion of fiber is the single most energy consuming process that our body can undertake during digestion.
