Fat Flush Diet Plan
The Fat Flush Diet plan is more than just a diet. Ann Louise Gittleman, a leading nutritionist and former nutrition director at the prominent Pritikin Center is a true leader in eating for life for both weight control and disease prevention. She has published many books including her very popular book The Fat Flush Plan which offers a complete weight loss plan which relies on internal cleansing including a balanced diet of proteins, essential fats, and good carbohydrates.
So what is this plan the will flush the fat? Well, The Fat Flush Diet plan is not merely a diet, but also a detoxifying system. This weight loss and detox system concentrate on boosting metabolism, lower water retention, and promoting fat loss, all while detoxifying your body, relieving it of the harmful toxins your body accumulates on a daily basis.
The Fat Flush Diet plan is separated into three phases. The first phase is highly restrictive, allowing you to consume only 1,100 to 1,200 calories per day. The main concentration of this phase is reducing water retention. You are also prohibited from eating fats, oils, sweets, starchy vegetables, alcohol, and grains during this phase and are restricted to only certain herbs and spices.
The second phase is basically the first phase, but you are now allowed to consume 1,200 to 1,500 calories per day. The goal is to do this until you have achieved your desired weight loss.
The third phase is considered the “maintenance” phase, in which you strive to maintain your weight loss. You are allowed to eat 1,500 or more calories during this phase and the prohibited items from the previous phases are gradually re-introduced into your diet.
As with most diets, this one also sees the benefits to exercise. This plan is no different, for exercise also accompanies it, but any effective diet plan will involve exercise; there is simply no way around it. Depending upon which phase you are in on the diet, you will be engaging in 20 to 40 minutes of exercise per day.
The exercise types will vary, beginning with simple low impact activities, such as walking and gradually working up to more vigorous exercising, including strength training. You are also required to have 8 hours of sleep every night.
Weight loss is not easy, but can be achieved if you strive to reach your goal. You must work hard and be dedicated to losing the weight.
Once you lose the weight with The Fat Flush Diet plan, you will not only be healthier and physically feel better, but you will also have a higher self esteem and be more satisfied with the way you look. You do not have to hide behind the weight anymore and you can let your inner beauty shine through.
